<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://cathyyochheim1.point2agent.com/utility/FeedStylesheets/rss.xsl" media="screen"?><rss version="2.0" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:slash="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/slash/" xmlns:wfw="http://wellformedweb.org/CommentAPI/"><channel><title>Cathy  Yochheim</title><link>http://cathyyochheim1.point2agent.com/blogs/cathy__yochheim/default.aspx</link><description /><dc:language>en</dc:language><generator>CommunityServer 2.1 SP1 (Debug Build: 61019.2)</generator><item><title>A little piece of info on me :)</title><link>http://cathyyochheim1.point2agent.com/blogs/cathy__yochheim/archive/2008/01/10/a-little-piece-of-info-on-me.aspx</link><pubDate>Thu, 10 Jan 2008 19:12:00 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">ba9da437-906f-4196-afef-dc53845421aa:237255</guid><dc:creator>Cathy  Yochheim</dc:creator><slash:comments>1</slash:comments><comments>http://cathyyochheim1.point2agent.com/blogs/cathy__yochheim/comments/237255.aspx</comments><wfw:commentRss>http://cathyyochheim1.point2agent.com/blogs/cathy__yochheim/commentrss.aspx?PostID=237255</wfw:commentRss><description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;&lt;font face="Times New Roman"&gt;My first foray into real estate was tagging along with my dad; he was a real estate agent selling farms in Ohio.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Dad made sure I knew my way around the court house showing me how to search down the recorded information.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I found it fascination some of the sales were for $1.00 and love and affection.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Others were in lieu of payment for military duty.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;He also taught me about metes and bounds (from the creek to the large boulder on the east side).&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;&lt;font face="Times New Roman"&gt;My real estate career has taken me from working as an agent in Virginia (high heels and suits) to New Mexico, (that was short lived with twin babies).&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;California and pages and pages of contracts.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Times New Roman" size="3"&gt;I took a break a few years back from my real estate office, &amp;quot;Sierra Sunrise Properties&amp;quot; in Pine Grove and Camanche and moved to Wyoming.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;There I realized that people died each winter inside their homes due to the extreme cold and housing conditions.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I started a Habitat for Humanity affiliate and a process for home ownership on trust land on the Wind River Reservation, a tow million acre reservation with about 6,000 people and 300 homes.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I was asked to work on federal housing programs and had wonderful partners that came together to form Housing Partners a non-profit community housing development organization.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The learning curve was tremendous with putting together a 15 acre development using tax credits.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;But when the apartments were built and the little ones where riding around on their bikes oh what a feeling.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Arriving back into California I worked for Rural Community Assistance Corporation doing training for non profit housing organizations and communities on federal housing programs.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Lots of travel and hotels, I was ready to settle down and enjoy my home.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;But through it all I still love the people, for me that am what it&amp;#39;s all about and love of the land.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Some of my favorite days are out hiking around some ranch and getting to know folks who love our county.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;We are so fortunate to live in this beautiful part of the world.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Anyway, I am back to residential real estate.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;In March my husband Eric and I bought Realty World in Jackson located on Hwy 49/88.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Stop by and I will put on the coffee or tea.&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Love to get to know you all, as they said in Virginia.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Times New Roman" size="3"&gt;Whether you are in the market to buy or sell, I&amp;#39;m committed to providing you with the highest quality service.
